I love the Amsterdam Airport. I remember a few years ago I spent nearly an hour at the Rijksmuseum's Flemish Masters exhibit at the Schiphol Airport.
I love buying Dutch candy at the airport. Somewhat more expensive than the city, but when you can't go to the city, you do what you can.
Like hand out €10 each to three very recently former Ukrainian orphans and take the duty free shopping. And you know what's best? Carrying non-EU passports really makes duty free duty free! You'd be amazed at what the otherwise supposedly math challenged kids can do to make sure they spend their money to geth the best value!
Schiphol is fun! It is the first ever foreign airport I've seen.
ReplyDeleteSchiphol is one of the few airports that I simply don't mind. Dublin is horrid, Gatwick is yuck.
