Update!

I got home from India just in time for Noa's 9th birthday. Literally hours before her birthday. We had a lovely little celbration, she had two of her friends from school over (she goes one day and one afternoon every week). We had cakes and cookies and designer sandwiches. Yep. My 9-year-old opted for sandwiches that we normally order for meetings with clients. :D I'm so proud of her! She got some cash, more Barbie dolls, clothes, a new purse with a kiddie make up set (that's from her aunt), some DVD's and a.... Justin Bieber sticker album from one of her friends. Oy.

India... I got stuck in Kolkata the whole time, but that's okay, it was still great. Poor Efi is STILL there, coming home on Tuesday at last. Maya is very ready to have him home finally!

The twinsies are now confidently running, climbing stairs and they have finally started to really speak. With the blossoming of their English and Hebrew, their Armenian, unfortunately, has seemed to completely disappear. Now when Kevin or Noa speak to them in Armenian they seem to pick up some of the common words, but mostly don't respond.

We have two of Chalin's kids here for the next week or so as Chalin is starting chemo and his daughter is receiving the stem cell transplant. The rest of the kids are hanging out with family and I'm very happy that two of them chose to stay with us. I drive them across town for school, and Kevin picks them up at the end of the day.

Home achooling is going good. Noa is about ready for school, I think in about 6 weeks or so she will be going to school full time. I will continue to home school Matthew through his two upcoming surgeries, so till about Pesach.

I can't believe we are already in the month of Kislev! Chanukah is less than 3 weeks away! Latkes! Sufganiyot! Lights! :)
