My eldest son's Jewish birthday falls on the third night of Pesach, so, as we tend to celebrate both Gregorian and Jewish calendar birthdays, it means we gotta have a birthday cake for his Jewish birthday. But, as I'm sure you know, baking choices are pretty limited with the no leavening rule for Pesach, and as my son and many of our family keep kosher, the cake has to be kosher for passover.
This year we are going to try this recipe. It better be yummy, or we are in big trouble as we are hosting Seder for the whole family... 40+ people, many of them kids.
